Arab Finance: Egypt witnessed a rise in gold prices on Sunday, with the 24-karat increasing by 5.75% to EGP 4,542.75 per gram for buying and EGP 4,571.5 for selling, iSagha’s data showed.
The 22-karat gold price also rose by 5.25% to EGP 4,164.25 per gram for purchasing and EGP 4,190.5 for selling.
The 21-karat recorded a 5% growth to EGP 3,975 per gram for purchasing and EGP 4,000 for selling.
The 18-karat gold price increased by 4.25% to EGP 3,407.25 per gram for buying and EGP 3,428.5 for selling.
Additionally, the gold pound surged by 40% to EGP 31,800 for purchasing and EGP 32,000 for selling.
Likewise, the gold ounce’s price went up by 0.01%, recording $2,860.66 for buying and $2,860.66 for selling.
