Arab Finance: The Ministry of Finance is mulling over additional incentives and financial support for the first 50,000 taxpayers who join the simplified tax system, according to a statement.
During an open dialogue at the Egyptian Federation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk announced nine tax exemptions for any activity with annual revenues not surpassing EGP 20 million under this integrated system.
This aligns with Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support SMEs and expand the tax base through trust and partnership.
He added that small businesses, entrepreneurs, and startups topped the government’s priorities, as they contribute to driving Egypt's economic growth.
