Arab Finance: Contact Insurance Brokerage, the insurance arm of Contact Financial Holding, has joined the UN Global Compact Network Egypt (UNGCNE) as part of the group’s efforts to advance environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles and promote women in leadership roles, as per an emailed press release.
The partnership aligns with Contact Financial Holding’s strategy to support initiatives that promote governance, transparency, and equal opportunity, with a focus on the economic and social empowerment of women in the Egyptian market.
Through this collaboration, Contact Insurance Brokerage is supporting UNGCNE’s women’s empowerment program, “Bloom with Purpose.”
The Pearson-certified program aims to provide women in mid-management positions with leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and decision-making capabilities to help them progress into senior executive roles.
By joining the UN Global Compact, Contact Insurance Brokerage reinforces its commitment to responsible business practices.
The partnership provides the company with access to knowledge, tools, and capacity-building platforms in areas such as Business & Human Rights, Climate Ambition, SDG Innovation, and Business Integrity.
Contact Insurance Brokerage will also benefit from the Sustain360 program, UNGCNE’s capacity-building platform focused on developing ESG competencies across the private sector.
In addition, the company will gain access to the UN Global Compact Academy, the UN’s digital learning platform offering on-demand training to support businesses in integrating sustainability into their operations and leadership.
