Macro Capital’s EGM greenlights capital hike

Arab Finance: The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) agreed to increase the authorized capital of Macro Group Pharmaceutical (Macro Capital) to EGP 3 billion from EGP 575 million, according to a bourse filing.

Additionally, the issued capital will rise to EGP 684.247 million from EGP 114.041 million. The EGP 570.206 million capital hike will be implemented by issuing 2.851 billion shares, with a nominal value of EGP 0.20 per share.

The group recorded consolidated net profits attributable to the parent amounting to EGP 68.911 million in the first half (H1) of 2025, against net losses of EGP 88.795 million in H1 2024.
