ArabFinance: Not only digital transformation requires the use of new technologies to improve the operations carried out by the oil and natural gas industry, but also requires basic integration in the use of digital technologies in all areas of business, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla confirmed during a roundtable meeting on January 15th.
During the roundtable meeting entitled “The Future of Digital Progress in the Oil and Gas Industry”, El-Molla remarked that Egypt aims to digitalize government work and provide the latest digital services to citizens, within the state's strategy.
This will help the ministry to double the capacities of its digital information infrastructure and maximize the use of artificial intelligence across various projects, particularly in urban planning and construction.
