MCIT Minister discusses partnership, digital capacities support with India’s IIT

Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat met with the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), one of leading institutes globally in capacity building, software and systems development on Thursday , according to the official Cabinet statement.

The meeting discussed means to exchange experiences and establish international partnerships in training programs and qualifying specialized cadres in ICT sciences.

In addition, they discussed aspects of cooperation with University of Informatics and Information Technology Institute (ITI) in training and specialized academic education.

Talaat also met with Shivendra Singh,  Head of the Global Trade Development Department at NASSCOM, and a number of NASSCOM company members, which has more than 3,000 members and provides 90% of India's business outsourcing and IT services industry revenues.

Moreover, the industry provides the highest employment rate in India's private sector.

The two parties discussed cooperating in the field of digital capacity building, development of the outsourcing industry, and coordination through cross-border services.
