Arab Finance: Taleem Management Services and Palm Hills Development announced the completion of the Badya University’s licenses, according to a press release on August 22nd.
The university is set to open in the academic year starting September 2024, with its first stage to include faculties of dentistry, physical therapy, business administration and economy, and computer science.
On August 12th, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued Decree No. 338 of 2023 on the establishment of Badya University.
The university is 60%-owned by Taleem, while Palm Hills owns the remaining 40%.
Situated on 167,000 square meters (sqm) in Palm Hills Badya City in West Cairo, the university is set to accommodate a total of 12,500 students at eight academic faculties.
