Egypt’s Top Employment Sectors in Q3 2024

In the third quarter (Q3) of 2024, Egypt's top employment sectors were led by agriculture and fisheries, which accounted for 18.8% of the workforce, followed by wholesale and retail at 15.3%, as per data from CAPMAS.

Building and construction contributed 14.1%, transformative industries made up 13.2%, and transport and storage accounted for 8.9%, according to data from CAPMAS.
