ECA refers 21 egg producers to prosecution for price-fixing

Arab finance: The Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) announced that 21 major table egg producers, representing 70% of the market, have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action, as per a statement.

These producers were found to have colluded to raise the prices of white and red eggs, leading to significant price increases that did not reflect the actual value of the product, in violation of the law.
