Hisham Ezz Al-Arab appointed as CIB’s CEO, board member

Arab finance: The Commercial International Bank's (CIB) board has appointed Hisham Ezz Al-Arab as CEO and board member, succeeding Hussein Abaza, the bank stated.

The board has also selected Amr El-Ganainy as an executive member of the board as the bank’s deputy CEO.

This is in addition to appointing Nevine Sabbour as non-executive chair of the board, the first woman who ever to hold this position at the bank.

Moreover, Tony Prestedge was also appointed as Executive Advisor to the board, while Islam Zekry was appointed as executive member of the board.
