Suez Canal Revenues Surge in April 2023

The Suez Canal has seen a 43.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its revenues during April 2023, hitting EGP $904.5 million compared to $630.5 million in the same month a year earlier, according to data from the Suez Canal Authority (SCA).

A total of 2,298 ships carrying a net tonnage of 133.3 million tons have passed through the canal in both directions last month.
